Create and Craft are proud to announce that Jewellery expert Sarah Millsop has joined them to become a Craft Ambassador. Sarah joins other crafting experts including the ‘The Crafty Beggars’ Wendy Turner-Webster and Julie Peasgood, Mich Turner MBE, Cassie Brown and Sarah Hurley.
Sarah’s love and passion for Jewellery making started 16 years ago as she took up jewellery demonstrating at her local craft store as weekend work whilst she studied at college. From there she began to teach Jewellery making courses at a local college and for the past 6 years has taken on the full time job of managing beading company, Bead’s Direct, and guest presenting on Create & Craft.
Sarah works in all Jewellery making mediums as well as crossing over some of her creativeness to sewing and papercraft. She believes that beads and the techniques used for jewellery making are really diverse and loves to discover ways she can utilise her skills in lots of crafting areas. She loves to fill her home with handmade and unique projects; from beaded artwork to upholstered chairs, and of course jewellery itself, which she confesses is where her true passion has always lied.
As a craft Ambassador for Create and Craft, Sarah will have a big presence on Create and Craft’s social media, hosting Facebook Live demonstrations and Q&A sessions on a weekly basis. Sarah will also feature in the ‘Craft Academy’, a super-hub of knowledge and expertise hosted on Create and Craft’s website: www.createandcraft.com/gb/craft-academy
Commenting, Sarah said: “I am truly delighted to have been asked to join the Create & Craft family as an Ambassador and there are some really exciting times ahead! I love helping others master new skills and find hobbies to satisfy their creative needs, as has been my aim for many years. I look forward to continuing my work with the Create & Craft customers and becoming part of the team.”
Tony Sheridan of Create and Craft, commenting said: “We are delighted to have Sarah Millsop on board as one of Create and Craft’s Ambassadors. Here at Create and Craft, we pride ourselves on providing a wealth of educational and inspirational content, free of charge to our customers not only on our Live TV shows but also via our online content on Social Media and our Craft Academy. It is imperative to us that we are there to help our customers on every step of their creative journey and this would not be possible without the help of our guest experts such as Sarah who inspire and educate our customers. We are really pleased to have her as part of our Ambassador family.”
Sarah’s first social media event will take place on the Create and Craft Facebook Wednesday 1st February at 10am.
