Jenniffer Taylor, who was a contestant on the BBC’s hugely successful Great British Sewing Bee last year is to appear for the first time LIVE on Create and Craft TV.
Jenniffer will be bringing her quirky style to sewing in a one-hour special LIVE on Create and Craft TV on Saturday 17th January at 2pm, where she will be showing you how to upcycle fabrics into individual and fun accessories which will complement any style.
Jenniffer says; “I’m ‘sew’ super excited about teaming up with Create and Craft TV and sharing a few of my sewing revolution projects live on air. I want to get everyone excited about sewing. From absolute beginners to hard core sewers and everything in-between, I hope to inspire you to create new projects by upcycling.”
The BBC’s Great British Sewing Bee has put sewing back in the limelight. With over 2.7 million viewers, the show has brought inspiration to a new, younger audience who now have the confidence to go out there and make something unique and creative.
Michael O’Connor, Head of Marketing Communications says; “We’re so pleased to have Jenniffer on our TV channel. We and our customers followed her closely on the Sewing Bee, enjoying her unique approach to sewing, which we know will come through when she presents on the show. The Great British Sewing Bee has had a huge impact on the public. We’ve been in the sewing market for over 10 years and last year we sold just over 15,000 sewing machines, up 14 per cent on the previous year. Our LIVE sewing shows teach our viewers the skills they need to make beautiful and unique sewing projects from dress making through to quilting. And of course, all the tools you need are readily available to buy through our channel or our website – www.createandcraft.tv.”
The show will broadcast LIVE from 2pm on Saturday 17th January. As well as Jennifer presenting, viewers will also be able to purchase the Singer One Plus sewing machine plus a range of haberdashery.
