Martin joined Ideal Shopping Direct in December 2018 following the acquisition by Aurelius. He is an entrepreneurial CEO with a track record of initiation and development of profitable business in over 20 countries on 4 continents.
Martin started his Direct Marketing journey with the Franklin Mint (which spawned QVC USA) in 1986. He has set up, turned around, developed and managed DRTV led businesses from Japan to Chile and from Sweden to South Africa.
Martin has spent his time with Quantum International Ltd, Vector Versand (Germany and UK), JML, Industex (Spain), Hochanda and co-owned the largest company in Europe selling golf products on DRTV (prior to the Golf Channel) which has now been merged into Terra-Scientia LLC, an IP ideas factory currently focussing on the autonomous vehicle market.
Martin gained a 2:1 in his BA Honours degree in business studies at the London City Business School and is a Fellow of both the CIM and IDM.
