Create and Craft, the UK’s number one crafting channel, will be sponsoring the Creative Living Theatre at this year’s Spring Knitting & Stitching show which is held at Olympia London, 3 – 6 March 2016.
The Create and Craft Demonstration Theatre will be bringing together some of the leading lights from the recent Great British Sewing Bee series which airs on BBC TWO. There will be sessions from;
- Matt Chapple, current winner of the last Sewing Bee
- Chinelo Bally, Sewing Bee finalist who impressed everyone with her free style of sewing
- Jenniffer Taylor, Sewing Bee contestant and regular Create and Craft presenter, bringing her quirky style to upcycling fabric
- Lauren Guthrie, who wooed the judges with her talent and happy outlook from the first series of the Sewing Bee.
The demonstrations will be free for the visitors that attend the show where they will have the chance to learn new techniques and meet these Sewing Bee celebrities.
With the new series of the Great British Sewing Bee starting due this spring, this will be a great opportunity for keen sewers to learn new techniques and get inspiration across an array of different textile categories.
Alongside the theatre, Create and Craft will also have their own stand situated as L19 where they will be offering more inspiring demonstrations with fantastic show offers. Plus, the chance to join the Create and Craft Club and meet The British Craft Awards, Craft Personality of the Year winner Dean Wilson.
This year’s show will see hundreds of workshops, demonstrations and interactive features running throughout the event, and is the perfect place to get great ideas, learn new skills and meet like-minded people. There is plenty of shopping opportunities too. Over 200 specialist companies, from sewing machine manufacturers to yarn makers, will be selling a huge range of essential knitting, sewing and textile craft supplies, with a host of show discounts and special offers.
