Create and Craft TV is launching a colouring postcard book to support the All Counties Craft Challenge in its aim to raise funds for Mind, the mental health charity.
These colouring books form part of a wider fundraising initiative spearheaded by ex- Create and Craft employee John Bloodworth – the ‘All Counties Craft Challenge’. John, also known as ‘Gentleman Crafter’, is visiting all 92 historic UK counties in a motorhome, crafting with communities along the way. The adventure is in a bid to raise £20,000 for Mind. The 12-month challenge is to spread creativity across the nation and raise money for a charity which is close to his heart, as he has suffered periods of severe depression. John is living and travelling in a motorhome, visiting craft groups, organising workshops and sharing his crafting knowledge, all while promoting Mind.
The postcard colouring book features 24 high quality postcards, with designs included from celebrity crafters including: Stephanie Weightman, John Bloodworth, Nancy Watt, Sue Balfour, Kevin Wood, Natasha McCarty, Pollyanna Pickering, Sarah Payne, Lou Collins and Dreamees.
The postcards are perfect for colouring in with a variety of different craft mediums including pencils, alcohol markers, water colour paints, mica powders and more. Designs to colour in, range from animal, floral patterns and many more. The postcards also come with six colouring pencils.
Customers can choose how much they would like to donate to the charity, and in return they will receive their colouring postcard book. Options are available at different prices to suit all purses and pockets – £1, £3, £5, £7.50, £10, £15, £20, £25. They are available online from http://www.createandcraft.tv/allcountieschallenge or by calling 09056 480480.
Charlotte Porter, Corporate Partnerships Manager, at Mind says: “I’d like to say a huge thank you to Create and Craft for helping us raise valuable funds. We know that many people find craft activities to be great for their wellbeing, because it can be very therapeutic and rewarding.
“The donations received will go towards funding our vital work supporting those living with a mental health problem. This includes our information services and the campaigning Mind does to secure a better deal for the one in four of us who experience a mental health problem every year.”
